I am Isaac Farr…

I found out i had two loves in my world at an early age, one was living life, and the other was Music.

I was born in Salt Lake City Utah on August the 15th, 1987. Born with water in my ear drums and had to learn our worlds sounds underwater.

However after a year and half i had what many people have had to go through in getting tubes to release the pressure in my noggin. The new universe that had been opened up to me was unsurmountable. Everything made music; cars to wind and trees and it all seemed to be in some way connected. I never wanted to, but i couldn’t escape the earths rhythm.

Looking back on what i really liked when i was a small boy, artists like Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, they all stood out to me. I always felt like I could learn one day I could tap into that same wavelength they had, and become a great musician/artist….

I picked up my first guitar when my sister wanted to learn the piano and my parents went a pawn shop to pick one up and i had been wanting a guit fiddle for quite some time to start my own band. They brought back a nylon acoustic. I played it until my fingers tips were numb and sometimes bleeding for the simple fact that i could modulate time and space to create music with so many tones and sounds with a box and strings. I was around ten.

I got to busy for it when i was about thirteen. But life just wasn’t as happy without writing my sappy love songs. So the thirst for music made me pick it back up with such intensity at age 16 that i dedicated six hours a day to it. The journey was incredible, dabbling in rock, blues, Latin, funk, classical, reggae, Jazz, to bluegrass.

Before you knew it, I have been playing, writing, singing, for ten years. There is much work to be done. But it is my promise as an artist to create raw organic tones and songs with enlightening lyrics, and melodies that make you feel good. Because i believe music can heal the world. Music is life.
