On my trip to Oregon this past week I had the plesure of playing guitar and banging out a few old classics around the camp fire in a town I can’t remember. I just wanted to give a shout to Stephen Reynolds, he was 16 years old but had grown with the classics and was pretty talented. Watch out for him. And If you get a chance to read this Stephen, keep on keeping on.

I found the original cut of “Greed and Hate” from three years ago today and was rocking out all alone in my room at 8 a.m. If you can dance by yourself you know you are having a good time. I also had an amazing bike ride this morning, I posted some pictures. My happy morning was slightly tarnished with the fact that the V.F.W. canceled our show due to double booking….again. All you can do is smile because life is to good to hate the little things. I’m so sorry to all that were planning on coming. We miss you guys. We are looking for another venue to fill the night. Still having band practice today with the boys, let us know if you have any requests and we will bust them out.

I just thought everyone should check out this track I’ve been vibing for the last month. The Artist is  The Derek Trucks Band, and they are Fucking amazing. Dereks father died at a young age and he he happened to be in the Allman Bros inner circle so they raised Derek on blues music and…slide guitar. A few years ago he was mentions in a Rolling Stone cover story for the new generations guitar gods, including John Frucetti and John Mayer.

If you haven’t heard the track “Morning Yearning” From Ben Harper, go check it out cause i started my morning to it today and whatever mood your in Ben will exhalt the emotion and make you feel content and good like you just at the perfect meal and are watching the sunrise from your favorite spot in the world…..alright that was a little intense haha but o so good. Also check out “Better Way” it has very uplifting and enlightening with tones to make you dance. The album is Both sides of the gun

For me today is another day you have to get up and keep on keepin on. To many the days of Saturday, and Sunday, are the days of rest. Do you ever have that feeling something isn’t done and you can’t go on to the next task. That is how i feel everyday that i haven’t gotten a record deal or shared my passion for music with you, the people, we are the ones who it now more than ever in this time of separation from happiness…. When the sun is burning in the sky for all to see it gives me hope for spring and happy smells.

Those of you who have lost jobs, to many of you, I commend you for your courage to not blame anyone and to go on with your day 2 day routine. To those who haven’t seen or felt this heavy burden money has put on our society shit just got real. So maybe lend a hand from your tower of peace and try and have one positive thought a day instead of that negative one. A little positive thinking goes a long long long way. Best of luck to all of you i’m sending some love your way
